Title: Save Money and Reduce Your Greenhouse Gas Emissions Presenters: Bob DeAngelis (President of Yorktown100) with Lauren Kroell (Sustainable Westchester) Presenter Bio: Bob DeAngelis retired from IBM in 2018, where he managed energy conservation, environmental compliance, and major construction programs. He co-chaired the National Engineers Week program for IBM Research and spoke to thousands of students about careers in engineering and science. He founded Yorktown100 and became a board member of CURE100 because he strongly believes in personal responsibility regarding our impact on the environment. He has become known for his help to homeowners with sustainable HVAC systems and is a resource for rooftop solar and clean energy opportunities. He was integral in obtaining "Bronze" status for the Town of Yorktown as a Climate Smart Community. Bob is a “hands on” engineer who loves to build and repair things and is an avid hiker and cyclist. His education includes a BS in Chemical Engineering and an MBA. He lives in Yorktown with his wife.
