KinoSaito Art Center and The Center for the Digital Arts Gallery

KinoSaito Art Center and The Center for the Digital Arts Gallery at SUNY Westchester Peekskill are pleased to feature a solo exhibition, Katherina Jesek: Venus in Vectors, curated by Megan Meadowlark at The Center for The Digital Arts of SUNY Westchester Peekskill. Opening Reception will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is free to the public.

Katherina Jesek’s work explores the intersection of analog and digital media, reimagining antiquated technologies such as cathode ray oscilloscopes through a contemporary lens. Her practice draws inspiration from early 90s GIF culture, early modernism, and the emergence of internet subcultures.

Jesek’s work has been shown at notable venues including The Museum of the Moving Image as featured in GizmodoFrieze Week LASuperRareRGBMTL in Montreal, and NASDAQ in NYC, Czechia and Spain.  She’s also a frequent collaborator with other artists, notably recently producing a music video for rock band Ekko Astral which was recently featured in the publication Stereogum.
