Administrative Assistant
Established construction company based in Croton-on-Hudson, NY seeking an Administrative Assistant.
This person must be able to assist in the day-to-day operations of the office, including, customer relations, managing file systems, answering phone calls, etc.
Employee will be managing day to day office operations while directly assisting management with personal tasks. Employee will be handing correspondence from current and prospective clients, relaying messages, typing proposals, managing schedules, running local errands. There are always a wide variety of different tasks at hand in this position, and it is imperative that this person be able to keep up, keep on top of all tasks at hand, multi-task, and follow-up all leads. Must be able to work quickly and efficiently, and have a VERY GOOD MEMORY!
Candidate must have strong telephone customer service skills and and be extremely organized. Employee must be proficient with MS Office Suite. QuickBooks and iPhone familiarity is strongly preferred and would be helpful. Must be comfortable wearing many hats and must be looking to grow long term with an office. This person will also be responsible for answering incoming phone calls.
Above all, this candidate must be organized, trustworthy, and quick thinking. Looking for someone with a sound knowledge of these tasks and willingness to learn more. Training will be provided. Experience in a construction office or related field would be helpful, although not required.
This is a fast paced job that calls for an ambitious, driven person.
