Teen Stitchers' Club
The adults have a stitchers' club . . . why not the teens? Perfect for the Summer Reading Program theme of "All Together Now," come join your friends to create your own Teen Stitchers' Club! All skill levels accepted. Those who have never crocheted or knitted before will be taught the basics. Those who already have either skill will be given a project to benefit the community, such as creating fingerless gloves for dialysis patients or creating baby blankets or lap blankets for those in need. Yarn, crochet hooks, and instructions will be provided. Knitting needles are not included, but feel free to bring your own. Registration for one or multiple sessions begins May 20 via the library's Web site.
