Tony Vitale was named Site Vice President, Entergy’s top official at the site, for Indian Point Energy Center in August 2016. Vitale had served as the Site Vice President for Entergy’s Palisades Nuclear Plant in Covert, Michigan since July 2011.

Vitale is a 35-year veteran of the power industry beginning his career with Delmarva Power and Light Company at Indian River Power Station in Delaware. He began his career in the nuclear industry when he joined the New York Power Authority at Indian Point 3 in 1983. He served as a supervisor and then manager in Maintenance prior to being named Operations Manager in 2003.
